I grew a lot with this project and learned how to work with changing audio and changing vocals to get rid of the vocals to enhance the instruments. I encountered struggles when trying to get rid of the vocals but was able to use my understanding of how the plugins worked to develop my own method for getting rid of the vocals and enhancing the instruments. I would probably change the lyrics and how I sung it due to the voice of Gollum being a hard one and my voice breaking the character in multiple parts. I think overall though I did a pretty good job of doing Gollum's voice while keeping what I'm saying understandable. I am probably most proud of the lyrics in this project, as I think it’s a very fun idea to give the story of Gollum’s Cave from the Hobbit as a song in a pop song. I will use the ideas of what I learned on this project to help me in the future understand and manipulate audio whether it be for recording stuff for School or a job or professionally mixing audio to make quieter parts more clear. This project changed the way I see how songs are made, as now I can listen to songs and wonder to myself how loud each instrument actually is, and how much pop is in the singer's voice. It makes me wonder how many levels of editing and high quality sound design had to be integrated into the song before it was released. It also made me realize that I suck at singing.
